Welcome to the Fairfield Bocce Federation website
With this website we wish to promote the wonderful game of Bocce in Fairfield, California and our surrounding area. When seven or eight teams of Bocce players get together to play, it is a fun social event while centered on pinpoint accurracy of play. We encourage all people to come and enjoy the sport of Bocce.
Bocce, in one form or another, has been played for about 5,000 years with various size Bocce type ball remanants being found in Egypt from that time period. The current form of Bocce evolved from the area of Italy during the Roman Empire and has spread worldwide in the last 200 to 300 years.
